Yes, there are a lot of evergreens ... but also plenty of alders which shed leaves.  The leaves mainly fall in the wood though ... most of the work is clearing up fallen dead branches after storms.  Here's a typical view of the north side of our wood, taken in October ... http://s4.postimg.org/r9gbvv1n1/0_W1_A5149_2.jpg

Do you have lots of leaves falling down? I don't know why but I pictured your place as mostly evergreens.

LOL it's not snowing. As I was watching this cam the storm abruptly came to a halt so I'm going to assume what looked like a storm to us was another snow machine blowing the snow across the cam view.
