More sleeping than playing

We had a place similar at a mall when I lived in Pittsburgh. It went out of business though. The place had all sorts of old retro video game systems as well as tons of gaming PC's but their pricing was crazy and I guess there wasn't enough people interested in the nostalgia of playing older games at the time. 

Where do they get the money to play on the machines if they are in there 24 hoursw a day ?
